Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation Board of Directors Welcomes Brian M. Butler
Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation unanimously voted Brian M. Butler to its board of directors at the November 2019 Board Meeting. As an accomplished businessman, longtime Central Florida resident, and leader with a passion for philanthropy, Brian brings invaluable experience and a unique perspective as the newest member of the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation board of directors.
As CEO of JCB Construction Inc., a family-owned Central Florida site development and construction management company, Brian’s extensive construction experience will guide Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation as the Foundation builds its new headquarters in Winter Park, Florida.
Brian grew up in Central Florida and attended Trinity Prep. He earned his BA in business economics from Brown University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Brian is actively involved in community service and has volunteered for numerous organizations, championing helping others and bettering the community in which we live. Brian has received many prestigious accolades throughout his career including “Most Influential Businessman” and “Top 10 Businessmen to Watch” from the Orlando Business Journal, as well as “Outstanding Volunteer” by the MWBE Alliance. He has served on the board of directors for local community organizations including Ronald McDonald House Charities, Valencia College Foundation, UCF Foundation and others.

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation board of directors is responsible for fulfilling the Foundation’s mission of creating and supporting innovative civic solutions to help people help themselves and works to ensure the goals of the organization are met. The board is made up of highly accomplished thought leaders in the community who are dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector of philanthropy throughout Central Florida. Brian joins Foundation board members: Richard J. Walsh, Chairman; Matthew W. Certo, Vice Chairman and Corporate Secretary; David A. Odahowski, President & CEO; Elizabeth A. Dvorak; Anne B. Kerr, Ph.D.; Patricia J. Engfer; and John A. Riley.
