EBCF Names New Board Members for 2017

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has recently named its 2017 board of director roster with recognized leaders in the community. Matt Certo, after a decade of Board service including as Corporate Secretary, was elected to the additional role of Vice Chairman for the Foundation. Matt is an award-winning member of the Central Florida business community, an author, and a sought after speaker. He is CEO and Principal of Findsome & Winmore, an Orlando-based digital marketing agency. He authored the newly released book, Formulaic – How Thriving Companies Market From The Core. Certo is also the author of Found: Connecting with Customers in the Digital Age. He has always been heavily involved in giving back to the community and serves on several important boards including for Ronald McDonald House Charities, The First Tee of Central Florida (an organization which he founded) and Nemours Children’s Hospital.

 

John A. Riley was elected as a new board member. As the founder of ZeroChaos, Riley pioneered the way many Fortune 200 companies source, manage and administer their contract labor workforce. Prior to ZeroChaos, Riley held several key positions with Transworld Services Group in Orlando. Transworld grew into one of the largest independently owned staffing companies. Always active in the community, Riley serves on many boards with organizations including Rollins Crummer Graduate School of Business, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, and PlanSource.

 

Filling out the roster of new board members, Patricia J. Engfer joins the organization. Engfer serves as the Vice President and General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando. She oversees strategic implementation of the company goals and financial success for the region. As a 39-year veteran of Hyatt Hotels, Engfer has earned great respect and multiple awards from the industry. She has also earned a reputation of community involvement serving on the boards of the University of Central Florida, YMCA and United Way.

 

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation was founded in 1973. Since its creation, it has been enriched by the Richard J. Conlee Fund and the H. Clifford Lee Fund. To date, the Foundation has issued more than 3,500 grants to over 830 organizations, totaling upwards of $107 million. Board members are Richard J. Walsh, Chairman; Matthew W. Certo, Vice Chairman and Corporate Secretary; David A. Odahowski, President; Herbert W. Holm, Founding Director; Elizabeth A. Dvorak; Anne B. Kerr, Ph. D.; Patricia J. Engfer; and John A. Riley.
